Shirley Teeter of Asheville, North Carolina was physically assaulted by a Trump supporter outside of a rally for the Donald on Monday. Teeter, 69, who at one time protested for Civil Rights and against the Vietnam War, felt the need to picket Trump's rally because she "ran into another situation that was sickening [her] heart."
According to reports from ABC News, Teeter's experience at the event took a violent turn after she heckled a Trump supporter about the Donald's buddy-buddy relationship with Russia. The Trump supporter in question, who has been identified as Richard Campbell of Edisto Island, South Carolina, turned around upon hearing this comment, and knocked the senior woman square in the face. Teeter has recovered from the incident, and a warrant has been released for the arrest of Campbell.
