In November, Puffy dropped his first project in over a year with MMM. Really, the mixtape/album was his first hip-hop release in almost 5 years, as 11 11 was more of a dance music project than anything. In any case, few expected that the Bad Boy founder's return would be so impressive, as MMM proved that Puffy can still make hot records while keeping the same New York luxury sound with which he dominated the late '90s.
In fact, were it not for the appearance Baltimore emcee, and Bad Boy signee, King Los, the track "Auction" could've dropped in 1997. Along with Diddy, "Auction" also features New York legends Lil Kim and Styles P. Today, Puff has dropped the official "Auction" video, and it's only right that he has called upon Hype Williams for the black-and-white visual treatment. What an awesome dose of nostalgia.
