With the support of Drake and OVO and today's release of their self-titled debut album, Majid Jordan is poised to make a shitfuckton of noise in 2016 and beyond. By infusing chilled out club vibes into pop music, the Toronto duo appeals to broad audience while retaining a certain musical high ground.
Majid Jordan now shares the video for "King City," the album's penultimate track that refers to the township 45 minutes north of Toronto. Directed by Common Good, the "King City" makes use of sepia/hipster tones, which mesh nicely with Jordan Ullman's Friar Tuck-ish haircut.
What'd y'all think of the album?
