One of the most arresting songs on Jonah Cruzz's excellent new mixtape Cruzz Control is "1994," which weds Cruzz's southern drawl with a potent G-funk beat to the effect of something off of Outkast's Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. "1994" wasn't an anomaly -- the ATL emcee pursued a west coast vibe another of the mixtape's better tracks, "Smoke Party," and he debuts the music video on HNHH.
Cruzz finds himself in the midst of bottles on bottles of Colt 45, disco balls, and blunts galore. Yup, it's definitely a smoke party. He works a funky Bay style beat, elucidating upon his weed-smoking powers while repping his native Ordinary Music Group (OMG).
