Back in October, TIDAL released an exclusive record that featured Usher, Nas and Bibi Bourelly. The song, "Chains," served as a reflection on and a tribute to some of the many Black lives that have been lost. The trio later came together at TIDAL's 10/20 event to perform the record live. Today they've followed it up with the release of the official music video (for all to see) on YouTube.
The visual is shot in black and white, and in between unsettling imagery, Usher finds himself running from a gun. He enters a church where a funeral is taking place, confused to find everyone in attendance covered in a light layer of dust-- at the end of the video we see the gun and the chains we saw at the beginning all crumbling into dust.
