Kevin Gates released his debut album, Islah, today, and he has also used the occasion to drop the video to a song that doesn't appear on the new record. In fact, in the new "Castle" video, one can hear Gates' contributions from the recent "Zeta Gang Castle (Remix)," on which he joined ZacZeta, aka the dude who crashed the stage and shouted him out at the People's Choice Awards.
It's a bizarre collaboration, but one that finds Gates spitting heat -- hot enough for a new video idea. The "Castle" visual was shot on Gates' recent European tour, during a stop in Brussels. The clip begins with a Belgian waiter pouring him a tasty looking codeine mimosa, and Gates proceeds to venture out into the town and rap about the "Bread Winner castle" in front of fittingly iconic architecture.
