B.o.B. went and dropped a Neil DeGrasse Tyson diss track earlier this week after Tyson attempted to explain to the ATL rapper that the Earth was not, actually, flat. Tyson's nephew chipped in with a B.o.B. diss track of his own, "Flat to Flat." Last night, Tyson appeared on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore to drop the mic on B.o.B. once and for all.
"It's a fundamental fact of calculus and non-Euclidean geometry," Tyson said. "small sections of large curved surfaces will always look flat to little creatures that call upon it."
He used B.o.B.'s ignorance to argue against a wave of intellectualism that he believes is plaguing American. He made some compelling points before bringing his speech to a dramatic conclusion.
"That's right, Bo.B, when you stand on the shoulders of those who came before, you might just see far enough to realize the Earth isn't fucking flat."
