Jay Electronica is the rap game’s ultimate tease. He appears occasionally on tracks, and even releases a song here and there, but has never come through with a full project since he first put out his Act I and Act II projects.
Now, we have more content from the enigmatic New Orleans rapper. However, this time its in the form of a video from Toyota. It’s part of the “Music in Motion” campaign, and features a beat from Alexander Spit and some paint being sprayed around everywhere by speakers.
The tease is in full effect here, as we see Jay Elect writing and then rapping rhymes, but with no audio to speak of. The song may be real, or it may be a figment of this video’s narrative. We’ll have to wait to find out.
