There are few artists in the game who have the vocal chops and soul to come close to D’Angelo, but BJ the Chicago kid has those abilities. The midwest crooner released a three song mix of covers at the beginning of the year, and now we have a visual accompaniment for the soulful tribute.
The video naturally features a beautiful female cavorting around an apartment while BJ the Chicago Kid sings, just as D’Angelo would probably prefer it to be. The entire thing is in greyscale, adding to the classy feel of the cover track.
The three D’Angelo songs covered are “Always in My Hair,” "Send It On,“ and "Untitled (How Does It Feel).”
