LE$ dropped the excellent Steak X Shrimp 2 in November of 2015, and now we have visuals for one of the doper tracks on the album. “Front” featuring Slim Thug is a song about authenticity, and the video provides proper historical context for Le$’ claims that he “ain’t gotta front.”
Shots of Le$ chilling in front of his whip with his hometown of Houston’s skyline in the background are interspersed with video from all the years L.E.$ spent grinding on the come up. Some of the videos may be more recent than they seem, as the director seems to have put a vintage filter on some shots. Slim Thug finishes out the video, rapping in front of his impressive mansion over the Cardo-produced beat.
