To cap off #HotNew15, we went back out into the NYC streets to ask the people to share their favorite projects and events of 2015, which, most everyone agrees, was a crazy year in hip-hop.
As for the top song of the year, New Yorkers gave a wide range of answers, and Post Malone's "White Iverson" was a surprisingly popular selection. There was the usual love for Future and Drake, too, whose "Hotline Bling" was ranked as HNHH's hottest song of the year. Moving on to albums -- as was the consensus just about everywhere -- Kendrick's To Pimp a Butterfly was the clear frontrunner, followed by Future's DS2.
There were also a few highly entertaining soundbites from some of our favorite WOTS alumnus, including Amber Rose's hopeful baby daddy, who remarked that he can't help but turn up to the "droning triplet shit" put forth by Drake, Future, and Fetty Wap.
