Huge year for Serena Williams. Came *this* close to pulling off the Grand Slam, solidified her status as the greatest female tennis player of all time, and banged Drake. Sports Illustrated recently named her their 2015 Sportsperson of the Year. But the SI reader's poll named not Serena, but Triple Crown winner and "avid horse" American Pharaoh as the rightful 2015 Sportsperson of the Year.
This "controversy" was the topic of last night's episode of the The Nightly Show. T-Pain joined host Larry Wilmore and co. for a roundtable discussion, and he was firmly on Team Serena. "It's just men being intimidated by a strong woman that's doing her thing, making boss moves, sitting on a damn throne in front of a magazine," he said.
