Boston emcee Cousin Stizz has unveiled a new video to "No Bells," a standout off his critically-heralded June mixtape, Suffolk County. "No Bells" has been a buzzing hit ever since the tape's release, and the video should give the track significantly more exposure.
The new visual takes viewers through Stizz' Suffolk hood, which is clearly behind the young rapper 100 percent. The crisp footage matches the no-nonsense bars that Stizz rips over the minimal production. We weren't aware of a tradition of forward-thinking street rap in Boston, and maybe Stizz is influenced by other regions, particularly to the south, but his style is all his own. And Beantown should be proud.
