Raury just dropped his debut All We Need, and naturally, he's now on the promo tour. The Breakfast Club is always an essential stop, so the rapper shot the shit with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God, talking about discussing his Atlanta roots.
Things started out in Raury's appreciation for the Dungeon Family, who he says he heard at family barbecues when he was around seven or eight. He was also asked if he'd ever made trap music, the dominant form of rap coming out of Atlanta. According to Raury, that's never been his style, but he was aware of Jeezy and Gucci Mane growing up. Later on he talks about the rare honor of meeting Kanye West. Watch the full 30 minute interview above.
