DJ Khaled's I Changed A Lot drops this Friday. He released the tracklist and three singles last week, and he stopped by Sway in the Morning yesterday to promote the album.
Khaled is known for his unpredictable interviews, and this one was relatively subdued, which is to say Khaled's bodacious personality was still on display. He explained how owning a production company, a restaurant, a headphone line, and a label is still not enough to impress "dinosaurs" in the industry, and how his career has been taken for granted. He says there are beatmakers and then are PRODUCERS, and he models his production style after legends like Quincy Jones, Barry Gordy, LA Reid, and Dr. Dre.
He also said he really tells his fiancee "you're smart" and claimed that Rick Ross (@ferrarifatboy) has the best Snapchat in the world.
Stay tuned for I Changed A Lot coming Friday.
