The Game's long-awaited album, The Documentary 2, just dropped and before he goes on to release The Documentary 2.5 at the end of the week, he has decided to release an actual "documentary," giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the recording sessions that went into his latest body of work.
The 50-minute video also has Game reflecting on how far he's come since his debut album, The Documentary, and why, in 2015, the time was right for him to drop another classic. Artists such as Drake, Dr. Dre, Meek Mill, DJ Quik, Dej Loaf, Busta Rhymes, and many more all show up to help Game build his magnum opus.
Game recently revealed that, in the past few years, he had recorded over 700 songs to be considered for The Documentary 2 album, and some of the music captured in the newly released footage won't make it onto either Documentary 2 or 2.5. Hopefully some of these collabs will be unearthed on future projects.
