Houston has produced some of the best rappers in the history of the genre. Z-Ro, Bun B, and Scarface are just a few of the old heads still holding it down for H-Town, but the city's rap scene has been riding a new wave recently and, in Paul Wall's opinion, has "never been healthier."
"There's a fan base to support all the different branches of the hip hop tree that have been growing out of Houston," Wall proudly explained, "whereas in the past, it might just be the typical Houston sound of music."
Wall stated his belief that BeatKing will be the next artist out of Houston to blow up before gushing about Travi$ Scott, praising him for staying true to his Houston roots while crafting a whole new sound for himself. Said Wall: "He took being underground global."
