Joey Bada$$ will be voting for the first time in the upcoming 2016 presidential election. Promoting his World Domination tour kicking off this Friday, he made an appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore to share his political beliefs.
Sitting on a panel with Wilmore, John Avlon (Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Beast) and comedian Jessica Kirson, Bada$$ said that he can't relate to any of the candidates because he is a young black man.
"One day you'll have your on vodka and then you'll relate to them," said Wilmore.
Bada$$ expressed his desire for a president who puts black issues, namely police brutality, at the forefront of the political discussion. He has yet to make his presidential pick.
