A tragedy occurred shortly after Nicki Minaj's concert in Japan on May 25th, resulting in the death of a fan of Minaj.

Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday Tour stopped in Japan on May 25th for a show, and it did not end well for one of the rapstress' fans.

Nicola Furlong, who was a 21-year-old exchange student from Ireland, was found dead in her hotel room in Tokyo only hours after Minaj's performance.

Reports say she was sexually assaulted and strangled after going to see the Young Money star's show with a friend. The reports say that there have been two arrests made in connection to the murder; a 23-year-old dancer named James “King Tight” Jamari Blackston and another 19-year-old, both Americans.

PerezHilton.Com reported that the dancer was one of Nicki Minaj's back-up dancers, however Ms. Minaj took to Twitter to defend her dancers and say that is not true.

She tweeted, "my dancers had nothing to do w/this tragedy. No one in my entourage was questioned or arrested. They all flew home from Japan."

We'll update you as more information on the incident becomes available.
