Slim Jesus has returned. The 18-year-old white rapper from Hamilton, Ohio, who is rap's latest viral success story thanks to his "Drill Time" video, is back with a new track and video exactly a month after dropping "Drill Time."
As with "Drill Time," there are plenty of drill motifs in the new "Buck Buck" video, namely guns and lean. Though, this time, Jesus is solo throughout, without a crowd of young savages backing him up. Though Jesus recently admitted that he isn't really about that life, he continues to come through with violent, drill-inspired lyrics. And he continues to point the gun at the camera. Jesus has said he makes drill music simply because that's the music he enjoys listening to.
Do y'all think "Buck Buck" will blow up like "Drill Time" did? Is Slim Jesus here to stay? As far as the music sounds, I think "Buck Buck" shows some progression.
