Deep cuts off DS2 are continuing to make waves 3 months after the album's release, though one of Future's hottest hits right now, "March Madness," first appeared on his 56 Nights mixtape, released in March, and didn't make it on to the LP. At the end of last month, though, Future released "March Madness" as a single, which has definitely resulted in the track gaining increased attention within the past couple of weeks.
Last night (Sept. 17), Future performed at the 2015 Streamy Awards, aired on VH1, to a seated black-tie audience. Before his performance, he was introduced as an artist who has been using his music to respond to recent social crises. Indeed, "March Madness," which touches on rampant police brutality, is perhaps Future's most socially conscious song. He, joined on stage by DJ Esco, performed the song in front of a montage of firsthand footage from Ferguson.
Where does "March Madness" rank among Future's best tracks of 2015?
