Lil Durk finally dropped his debut album, Remember My Name, earlier this year, and "500 Homicides" was one of the project's highlights. Reminiscent of Durk's breakthrough, "Dis Ain't What You Want," the track attached social commentary about the violence in Chicago to its message, and the video takes the concept further, with a TV report revealing that there have been 500 homicides over the last year in Chicago.
It's the second visual we've received from Durk in the last week, hitting us with yet another track from his LP, "Higher," just the other day. What did you think of the album?
