Mac Miller had the opportunity to be interviewed by Larry King, as he promote his anticipated new album GO:OD AM. The album is due out on September 18th, and the rapper has been selective about his promotional tools-- he did pay a visit to the Breakfast Club, and he's done a few podcasts.
During the 25-minute interview, Mac discusses the title GO:OD AM, and trying to create something a little more positive than past records. He also talks about jumping on to a major label, and if that means he'll get a little more commercial with his music. Mac says the #1 most commercial rapper in the world right now is Drake, by the way.
The Pittsburgh native also goes on to discuss struggling with a drug problem, tracing it back to depression (despite being successful).
Watch the full sitdown above. Stay tuned for GO:OD AM.
