Chief Keef's Two Zero One Seven mixtape is his first project in over a year, but it picks up right where he left off in 2015. The project is largely self-produced, with the Sosa On The Beat instrumentals sounding crisper than ever. "Empty" is one of the tracks that's Keef through and through, finding the drill pioneer keeping his vocals restrained. He uses a very light sprinkling of auto-tune on the hook, complimenting the catchy melody, which becomes more dynamic on his verses.
Listen to the full mixtape, which also features contributions from Lex Luger, Young Chop, and Tadoe, here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Countin' cash on my ten fingers or my ten toes
When I wanna be low-key, I'm in that Land Rover
You can out me in detox, don't think I'm staying sober
Jump in front of this metro train, ad get ran over
