Dr. Dre's comeback album, Compton, caused quite a sensation last week, but it was only one part of a G-Funk renaissance, with Warren G's EP dropping the very same day. While Dre's project found him working with newer sounds, G's project is very much a return to the style he made his name off of -- many of the songs being posthumous collaborations with Nate Dogg, who worked with Warren on his breakthrough hit, "Regulate".
