Released back in April, Jazz Cartier's Marauding In Paradise tape still remains one of the year's most underrated projects. The Toronto rapper showed that he could do nearly any style of rap that currently exists, from the boom-bap on opener "Guardian Angel" to the more OVO-adjacent stylings of closer "See You In Hell." Today, he combines two of the mixtape's tracks, "The Valley" and "Dead Or Alive," into one video.
In it, Cartier is seen surveying his hometown from a variety of perches. He starts off trekking through the night to emerge in considerably nicer clothes in a posh-looking hotel. Let us know what you think.
