As the "L$D" video proved a few months ago, A$AP Rocky's new, cinematically trippy sound is best experienced with accompanying visuals. Today, he makes up for cutting Kanye West's verse on "Jukebox Joints" with an immersive, hallucinatory clip.
As befits the song's title and sound, the video begins with Rocky and some friends in a diner, gathered around a jukebox. The music at this time is warm and soulful, and wouldn't sound out of place on a rap CD in '95 or '05, but when the transition hits, that's when things get weirder. We then embark on a colorful journey through NY's nightlife-- it's a wild ride.
