Tory Lanez has been gradually building a fanbase over the last few years, stepping up his game with each release. His most recent project is in collaboration with the WeDidIt collective, with producers such as Shlohmo, RL Grime, and Baauer contributing. In our new interview with Tory, he explains the recording process of the tape, revealing that it took place over five days, as he sat down with each beatmaker individually.
Later on he talks about his approach to songwriting, only picking up a pen if he's spitting a very technical verse, but otherwise, going off of a feeling. He then proclaims that he's "coming for the top," likening his imminent takeover to 50 Cent's in the early '00s.
