Along with Waka Flocka Flame's "Hard In The Paint," Rick Ross' "B.M.F." introduced Lex Luger as an innovator in rap, crafting an abrasive new sound that is still very much the template for much of what's coming out today. Rozay has been working within that lane for years now, but as Lex retreated under the radar, he worked with many other producers to a similar effect. With his latest release, "Dog Food," he's going back to the source, as Luger turns in a beat that sounds like it could've come straight out of his 2010 run.
The song now has it's own video, which you can watch above. It finds Rozay keeping things simple on his terms, sticking to his usual routine of smoking blunts and stunting in (what we assume from the interior is) a foreign whip.
