Today, prominent Los Angeles rapper and fashion designer David Sabastian decides to come through and share this colorful & fashion forward music video for “Duh,” featuring ANTI Society, who consists of a unique collective of artists, producers, directors and designers that represent youth culture in Los Angeles.
Directed by Byron Atienza, the video pays tribute to 90's hit music videos by influencers Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Puff Daddy, Ma$e and Busta Rhymes. You’ll instantly see what that means when you hit play. Check it out!
"The Duh video is my aesthetic interpretation on pop culture," explains Sabastian. "It illustrates a utopia of color and personality. It also gave me the opportunity to vicariously live through some of my biggest influences. I grew up idolizing hip-hop music videos and it's partially the reason I became an artist in the first place. I believe that this is the new wave. The kids in the video live in this utopia and together we took a snapshot of what freedom looks like. This video seamlessly cross pollinates race, culture and genre. It's heavy man. Ya dig!"
