Solange's third studio album, A Seat At The Table, has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, making it her first project to top the chart. Initially projected to fall just shy of Bon Iver's 22, A Million, Knowles has bested the indie darling's debut, selling 72,000 equivalent units (46,000 in traditional sales) to his 71,000 (58,000 traditionally).
With Beyonce's chart-topping LEMONADE dropping a few months back, Solange and Bey have become the only solo artist siblings to each top the chart in a calendar year besides Michael and Janet Jackson (with 2001's Invincible and All For You).
Interestingly enough, the only other pair of siblings to each earn a #1 on the Billboard 200 are brothers Master P and Silkk The Shocker. As you may know, Master P narrates Solange's new album.
