After successfully unveiling all the individual freestyles and the group cyphers for this year's crop of XXL Freshmen, XXL is now continuing the video content with their roundtable discussions. For today's roundtable conversation, we hear from three Freshmen: OG Maco, Vince Staples and GoldLink.
The three rappers discuss how the lines of all music genres are being blurred, and how hip-hop specifically is changing. "Unity is very important now," GoldLink says, following up on what Vince said. OG Maco goes on to discuss about how fame happens extremely fast in this day and age, and sitting in a sort of limbo when you're not quite mainstream but not underground.
