Lucki Eck$ just released a new mixtape called X, and it might be his best material yet. With a couple of rappers recently making moves into "psychedelic" lanes, Lucki is easily one of the most successful at exploring experimental soundscapes. Today he's shared a new visual for one of the tape's highlights, "Lowlife".
One of the more conventional records on the album, "Lowlife," still features a constantly shape-shifting beat, built of of a repeated chopped-and-screwed phrase that works as more of a rhythm than a discernible refrain. If you've yet to check out the tape, make sure not to miss out on one of the best projects of the last couple months.
