Young Dolph has had a prolific run recently, dropping the videos to "Pulled Up," with 2 Chainz and Juicy J, and "Down South Hustlers," with Slim Thug and Paul Wall. While the two aforementioned visuals were filled with turn-up energy from the Memphis up-and-comer, his latest, "Cold World," strikes a somber note, especially in light of recent events.
In the new video, Dolph visits a memorial for Mike Brown in Ferguson, and he takes his one-year-old son to the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis. Powerful images of black oppression from past decades are weaved in throughout Dolph's narrative. It's a "Cold World," but nothing is gonna stop Dolph from providing for his son.
"Cold World" appears on High Class Street Music 5 (The Plug Best Friend), which you can cop right here.
