Today YP released "Get Nothin,'" a quality visual from his album Untitled in which he raps over some jazzy, off-kilter yet groovin' piano and strings and robs a Chicago dice game with two young ladies and rides off with them in a maroon Caprice equipped with some vicious rims to go buy some Henny and snacks.
According to YP, the inspiration for the track came from his grandmother. "She used to tell me 'you get nothing if you don't do nothing,' and it had way more meanings than one," he says. "You don't get rewarded for not doing work. You don't see certain consequences if you don't take certain actions. It can be both negative and positive."
IF you're feeling "Get Nothin'" be sure to cop Untitled over at iTunes.
