After gaining some healthy buzz from his two singles "Run Ricky Run" and "Gun Fu," New York rapper Manolo Rose blessed his fans with his first mixtape, Concrete Rose, the other week. Fresh off the release of the project, Manolo stopped by our office to talk about his tastes in music and how he tends to blend different styles and sounds together, as well as producers he's been collaborating with lately, his relationship with the late Chinx, what appears to be his next hit "Super Flexin" and more.
In terms of producers, Manolo confirmed that he worked with Chuck Inglish while he was out in L.A. (something Chuck also confirmed on his end when we spoke to him the other day-- the song will live on Chuck's new album Everybody's Big Brother), and he also revealed he's got a stash with Harry Fraud and that he did a little something for Hit-Boy. We're definitely excited to hear the result of all three collabs.
Watch the full interview above, as he discusses what to expect from him in the coming year, including a debut album.
