After getting Rick Ross to spit on their March single "Certified," South London grime duo Krept & Konan bring Jeremih and DJ Mustard to spice up "Freak Of The Week" off their upcoming album The Long Way Home.
To be blunt, this shit slaps. To delve deeper, Jeremih simply can do no wrong. It Is it his extremely radio-friendly voice, or the fact that he's got some serious flow for singer? The Jeremih-Mustard combo is guaranteed to have you bouncing in your seat.
Krept & Konan rose to prominence on the UK rap scene with their grimy sound and Lloyd Banks-esque punchlines, but there is little UK flavor to be had in this song and video. Compare for example, this recent vid from their grime peer Skepta.
