Released as part of Awful Records' "Awful Holiday" on 4/20 this year, "Don't Call The Cops" has quickly become one of our favorite Archibald Slim tracks to date, and now we've got a video to go along with it.
Powered by Dexter Dukarus' woozy, psychedelic beat, the song has Slim pleading with a neighbor to not alert the police when he and his Awful family have parties at the apartment complex they live in, nicknamed The Barrio. "At the Barrio faded / Yellin' like it ain't no neighbors / Still laughin' at the fact we made the Barrio famous," he raps while FBI agents watch him from an undercover van.
This'll be the title track on Slim and Dukarus' new album, Don't Call The Cops-- be sure to watch the recently-released video for the project's "Ain't Shit" interlude if you haven't already.
