Kendrick Lamar Performs "These Walls" On Ellen

Not every rapper gets to perform on Ellen, but the positive message and undeniable talent displayed on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly caught the ear of the TV host, who brought him on yesterday to perform a highlight from the project, "These Walls". Usually backed by a band, K-Dot stood alone on the stage this time around, using a backing track, but delivering a performance electrifying enough to sell it. 

The only visual aesthetic was a dancing couple who performed acrobatic moves to the funky instrumental. Still, the real acrobatics were coming from Lamar himself, who proved his twisting flows are no easy feat as he rapped with impressive breath control.
