The opening track on Wati Heru and Kashaka's March EP, Dystopia FM, "White Lines" references a Grandmaster Flash track of the same name, and today, it gets a video. Shot in the same stop-motion style as Beyoncé's "7/11" video, these visuals are trippy and vibrant (though not quite as trippy as Heru's earlier video for "New Blue Hunnids").
The video takes us through a Heru Knitting Factory performance, spanning from a pre-show meal, to a backstage smoking sesh, to a sound check, and finally, to the actual performance. The song itself is a slo-mo thriller, one of the best on the EP.
