Yesterday, Malcolm X would've turned 90 were he not assassinated in 1965, and today, Black Dave drops a video and dedicates it to the late civil rights leader. It's for "Bout Me," a track taken from his upcoming tape Respect The Intellect.
As per the YouTube description, Dave shot this at The Betty Shabazz Center in Harlem yesterday, so props to him on the quick turnaround. In it, he's wearing a Malcolm X tee and skating around the neighborhood before he heads inside the community center. He then poses underneath a poster of Malcolm, raps about bringing Martin Luther King Jr. back, and poses with some folks who volunteer in the center. A great, thoughtful video.
