Premiere: check out Al-Doe's "Nowhere Island" video.

R.F.C. member Al-Doe most recently popped up on our radars when he and Dave East scored some production from vaunted Harlem production team The Heatmakerz on their collab "Hell's Angels." Today, we have the pleasure of premiering his latest set of visuals, shot for a song called "Nowhere Island."

The track begins with a sample of Denzel Washington dialog from "American Gangster" in which his character, Frank Lucas, decries the brash actions and flashy appearance of the infamous Nicky Barnes. Al-Doe's rapping reflects this sentiment perfectly, lacking frills or embellishment and doing nothing but getting the job done with real-as-fuck bars. The video itself is a beautiful, pink-tinted walk on the beach, contrasting his hard-edged lyrics, but making them stand out more as a result.
