The Game will star in an upcoming A&E documentary series called "Streets of Compton." The 3-part series will feature interviews with several prominent Compton residents and delve into Compton's recent past and attempt to explain how drugs, gangs, and political strife helped give birth to one Compton's rich musical and cultural history.
The Game is no stranger to basic cable, having starred in multiple VH1 reality shows. He will pair "Streets of Compton" with an 11-track music project starring fellow Compton residents Problem, Boogie, J3, Payso, AD, and more. The project's first single was the League of Starz-produced banger "Roped Off."
"Streets of Compton" will include interviews from The Game, N.W.A., Kendrick Lamar, MC Eiht, Problem, The Game's mother, father, and agent, Venus and Serena Williams' father Richard Williams, among others.
The first two parts of "Streets of Compton" will air on Thursday, June 9 at 9PM & 10PM ET/PT. The third and final part will follow on Thursday, June 16 at 10PM ET/PT. The accompanying music project is slated to drop June 17.
