After dropping King Me feat. Fetty Wap in April, upstart R&B/pop trio Rawyals just dropped the song's video (sans Fetty). Swaggering about on a chessboard in a hanger and doning all manner of high-class apparel, the ladies of Rawyals let the world know they they are rightful royalty and here to stay.
Rawyals consists of three women, each hailing from a different part of the country, by the names of Ariel Nicholson, Bel Cabrera and Asia Shabazz. Asia Shabazz, goddam, that's a helluva name.
The trio's moxie has caught the eye of 50 Cent. "There is a clear lane in music being left wide open," he said, according to BET. "These ladies are prepared to fill it. Call it crazy, sexy, cool or destiny, but they are the new wave."
Rawyals' debut EP In The Raw is set to drop on June 30 and will feature appearances from Wale, Troy Ave, and Remy Ma.
