Joey Fatts talks ASAP Yams and staying indie for "On The Come Up".

You may have first heard Joey Fatts' name alongside his Cutthroat Boyz crew members Vince Staples and Aston Matthews, but over the last little while, Joey Fatts has been making a name of his own. The Long Beach artist is known as much for his production as he is for his rapping, and through his unique style, he caught the ear of ASAP Yams.

In our new episode of On The Come Up, Fatts explains the instrumental role Yams played in his career, recalling a time when Rocky hit him up and called him his favorite producer. Later on he speaks on his goals to stay independent, recruiting his best friend to handle the business side of things. Though if he were to sign, he wouldn't mind a deal with Kanye West.

He's got 3 new projects on the way, including a collaboration with 9th Wonder, so stay tuned, because it's bound to be a big year for Joey.
