Amidst a crew full of vocalists who consistently blur the line between rapping and singing, Awful Records' Archibald Slim has been our best source for bar-for-bar lyricism and no-nonsense hooks. He's often clowned by his crewmates on social media for being the group's resident old head, but on the crew's recent cut "LMK," he shows he's very capable of carrying a melody.
Also featuring the talents of Father, KeithCharles Spacebar and Ethereal, the new loosie has Slim on the hook, leaving the verses to everyone else. KCSB's bars are particularly impressive, and when viewed alongside his great recent project We're All A Little Triflin, it's clear he's becoming more and more of a problem each day.
