Yesterday, Kevin Gates surprised us by dropping an August Alsina-less remix of his 2014 hit "I Don't Get Tired," and today he's back with more content. This one's a video for his Luca Brasi 2 track "Pourin The Syrup."
Fittingly a nocturnal, purple-hued video, these visuals show Gates rolling through the city at night with a girl and his dog in tow. The song's instrumental is almost as ear-catching as Gates' lyrics about his anal-centric sexual preferences, as it combines Boards Of Canada-style tranquility with an underlying ominous vibe, and throws in squalls of electric guitar and a beautiful piano interlude just for the hell of it.
