Rich The Kid, once a background figure in the Quality Control roster, is stepping into the spotlight lately both with appearances on big records and a few big features on his own cuts. Just this past week he linked up with On The Come Up alum Fetty Wap for "Keep It 100," produced by Zaytoven. With an arsenal of trap bangers, he's bound to have a mega-hit (a la Migos' "Versace") sooner rather than later.
We track his come up on our latest episode in the series. Rich The Kid details his youth, from being born in New York and transplanting to Atlanta, as well as the current QC roster. He also speaks on his Streets On Lock series, which is currently awaiting the fourth instalment. Rich The Kid says we can probably expect Streets On Lock 4 to drop after Migos' YRN: Tha Album.
He also adds at the end that he's working on his new mixtape, Flexin On Purpose, which he's dropping "probably in the next three works." Including his recent collab with Fetty Wap, he's been working with Hit-Boy, Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin' on the tape. Finally, he's also recording on an album. Sounds like the dude is super busy. Find out about everything he has going on in the video above.
