As far as opulent boasts in hip-hop go, "Fiji water in my iron" sits right up there with Soulja Boy's "So much money, bitch, I valet park my bicycle" and Kanye West's "I got more TVs in [my car] than where I live" in terms of its useless-but-aspirational quality. It's the title of a Bas track, but what's funny is that the song itself isn't very arrogant, and is instead rather romantic.
In its new video, a young couple frolic around, displaying nothing but love for each other, but all the while, tension lurks under the surface. Bas cools in the background, playing a role he's proven himself great at: the narrator.
