Elliott Wilson's live interview series, CRWN, continues today with A$AP Rocky as the special guest. The two-part interview comes in anticipation of Rocky's sophomore effort, At Long Last A$AP (A.L.L.A.). It comes as no surprise, then, that the album is a discussion point through out.
The interview kicks off with Rocky discussing how integral visuals have become to everything rappers do, whether it be album art or music videos, everything has to be on point and a reflection of the work itself. He also speaks on a quote A$AP Yams gave prior to his passing, referring to 2014, which he called a stale and an uninspired year for music. Rocky agreed, and spoke on how 2015 is already shaping up to be much more exciting and motivating than 2014, naming both Earl Sweatshirt and Kendrick Lamar's albums as inspirations.
Watch the first part of the interview up top, and stay tuned for part two.
